Josh Cabrita is a film critic and programmer from Vancouver, and the Chair of the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. A freelance contributor for the Georgia Straight, MUBI Notebook, and Cinema Scope, Josh has covered numerous international film festivals and written extensively on contemporary Canadian cinema. He is a member of the Vancouver International Film Festival’s screening committee and the Artistic Director of the Port Moody Canadian Film Festival. Josh is an unabashed defender of M. Night Shyamalan and is currently in the early stages of writing a book about the director's work
